First and foremost, you need a good carrying case. Digital cameras (or gear of any type) can be delicate. You don't want to scratch up your camera.

Or, if you prefer, you can visit your local electronics store and find a case that will fit. When looking at cases, your first concern should be padding. It will offer more protection if you drop the camera.

You should also look for pockets that will store your other accessories. Of course, this can be cumbersome. You may prefer to store the accessories in a different container. The choice is up to you.
