Q. I received my Club subscription e-mail. How do I start my Kim's Club membership?
A. Welcome to Kim's Club! Set up your Kim's Club account and profile first. Follow the instructions in your Club subscription e-mail. It includes your redemption code and a link for you to visit to establish your membership.
If you received a gift subscription e-mail, it will contain the subscribed e-mail address as well as your redemption code and a link for you to visit. Use that information to set up your profile and account.
PLEASE NOTE: The redemption code will become inactive after setting up your profile and account.
If you have problems entering your redemption code, copy and paste it. Highlight the redemption code and hold down Ctrl and press C to copy it. Then click in the field, depress Ctrl and press V to paste it.
Q. When does my Kim's Club membership officially begin?
A. Your Kim's Club membership term begins on the date you buy your subscription. You will receive a subscription e-mail with setup information after the purchase. Use that information to set up your account and profile. If you do not receive your subscription e-mail, please contact us.
Q. I'm having problems accessing a page on the Web site. What do I do?
A. This is a common problem. Usually users will see an "Oops!" page. If you're getting this error, it's usually a problem with cookies.
Here's what we would recommend:
1) Sign out of Kim's Club (if applicable)
2) Delete the cookies and temporary Internet files
In Firefox:
Click Tools>>Clear Private Data
Check Cookies, Cache and Authenticated Sessions
Click Clear Private Data Now
In Internet Explorer 7:
Click Tools>>Internet Options
Under Browsing History, click Delete Files
Click Delete Files>>Yes
Click Delete Cookies>>Yes
In IE6:
Tools>>Internet Options
Click Delete Cookies>>OK
Click Delete Files>>OK
3) Close all copies of your browser. Reboot.
Note: Some people have "cookie blockers" that may be part of the issue. If you're still having the "Oops" page appear after taking the steps above, you may want to temporarily disable your cookie blocking program. If this solves the problem, you need to make adjustments to the settings in the cookie blocking program.
Q. How can I purchase a Kim's Club membership by check or money order?
A. Please use our Mail Order Form. Print out the form. Include your billing information, e-mail address, "1 yr subscription to Kim's Club," and the $49.95 total. Do not include any Sales Tax or Shipping and Handling costs on the form. This is a non-shippable service provided to you through Komando.com. Enclose the completed form in an envelope along with your check or money order for $49.95 and send to:

A. To change your credit card that is associated with your Kim's Club subscription:
Log into your account at The Store:
My Account. Here you can update any billing information, including credit card, address change or a new email address.
Q. I have changed my e-mail address. How can I update my Kim's Club account?
A. You can make this change by logging into your Kim's Club account using your subscribed e-mail address and password.
Click on the My Information link under MY ACCOUNT. Then, click on EDIT next to E-mail Address. Your subscribed e-mail address should be populated. If not, type that in as well as your new e-mail address and confirm it. Finally, click the Save Changes button and you're done!
Q. I'm a Kim's Club member. How do I change the e-mail address for my newsletters?
A. Log into your Kim's Club account and click on Newsletter Preferences. Uncheck the newsletters you do not want going to your subscribed Kim's Club e-mail address. Click SAVE CHANGES. Sign out of your Kim's Club account.
Click on Free Newsletters and check the newsletters you want to receive at the other e-mail address. Type the e-mail address in Step 2 and click SUBSCRIBE. You will receive a confirmation e-mail at that address. Click the link in the e-mail to confirm your subscriptions.
A. If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express:
1. Save the e-mail to your desktop. Make sure it saves as an HTML file (*.htm, *.html).
2. Open the file in Firefox (other browsers may not work). You may need to right-click the file and choose "Open With…" and select Firefox.
3. Once opened, hold the CTRL button while scrolling with the scollwheel on your mouse to increase or decrease the text size. If you do not have a scrollwheel, you can go to View >> Text Size >> Increase.
If you access your e-mail through a Web mail program, see if this scrolling feature will work for you while viewing your message. This will probably work best using Firefox as well.
If for some reason you are still unable to access your newsletter with larger sized-fonts for readability, you might want to read them from the Web site. The Cool Site of the Day and Weekend Newsletter are both available online.

A. Log into your Kim's Club account. Click on the My Information link under MY ACCOUNT. Then, click on EDIT next to Screen name. Your current screen name should be populated. If not, type that in, as well as your new screen name, and confirm it.
Finally, click the Save Changes button and you're done!
A. Log into your Kim's Club account. Click on the My Information link under MY ACCOUNT. Then, click on EDIT next to Password. Type in your current password, then type your new password and confirm it. Finally, click the Save Changes button.
Q. I have moved and my billing address is now different. How do I change it on my account?
A. Log into your Kim's Club account. Click on the Billing Address link under MY ACCOUNT. Type in your new billing address and click the Save Changes button.
Q. I have a dial-up connection. Can I still use Kim's Club?
A. Yes! A dial-up connection will give you longer download times for Kim's podcasts or other downloads. Otherwise, there is no difference in your membership.
Q. Where can I access all that my Kim's Club membership gives me?
A. Click on any box under ACCESS YOUR PREMIUM CONTENT on your account page. Also, as you browse Komando.com, you will be able to access anything marked with a red key symbol.
A. Your screen name will appear at the top right corner on Komando.com when you are logged into your account. Click the link next to it to sign out.
Q. How do I renew my Kim's Club membership?
A. Click the Kim's Club Sign In button at the top of Komando.com. Click on the Renew link under MY ACCOUNT on your account page. It is not necessary to renew for the same subscription term.
Q. How do I cancel my Kim's Club membership? Do I receive a refund?
A. Log into your account by clicking on the Kim's Club Sign In button at the top of Komando.com. Click the Cancel Subscription link. Enter your e-mail address, password and screen name. Your subscription will be cancelled.
Credits will be pro-rated on any unused portion of your subscription on a monthly basis. Here's an example: If you buy a three-month membership and cancel on the 11th day, you are entitled to a refund for the remaining two months.
