Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio and video equipment for events, meetings, and productions.
- Provide IT support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and testing audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, mixers, and other AV technology.
- Support staff and clients with tech troubleshooting for audio and IT-related issues.
- Monitor and ensure the functionality of AV equipment during events, ensuring all systems are working smoothly.
- Take leadership of our support ticket system for in-house employee requests.
- Perform regular maintenance on AV and IT systems, including software updates, security patches, and backups.
- Provide assistance with on-site technical support during events.
- Collaborate with the VP of Integrated Technology Engineering to solve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Document technical processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
- Assist in managing inventory of equipment and supplies for the department.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of audio-visual technology and IT systems.
- Familiarity with audio equipment such as microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers.
- Experience with IT troubleshooting, including hardware, software, and network issues, DHCP, VLAN, DNS.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, routers, switches, etc.).
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Mac OS) and audio software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with video conferencing systems and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Skype).
- Knowledge of broadcast equipment and software.
- Familiarity with AV control systems and lighting.
- Meraki, Watchguard, Free PBX
- Ability to Edit audio using Adobe Premier
- Familiarity with WordPress

Pay Range: $45-55K
