Turn your tablet into a second monitor

For instance, you can respond to emails on one screen while you’re working on an Excel spreadsheet on the other screen. Now, there is a download that will let you turn your tablet into a second monitor. You can think of numerous ways to multitask. You do it all the time now. With two screens you eliminate the hassle of toggling from one open program to another open program on just one computer screen.
The Duet program and iOS app (see note below) let you connect your PC or Mac to your iPad (or iPhone) with its Lightning or older 30-pin charging cable, so you can have two screens working together. Unlike wireless second monitor connections, which can be unreliable, Duet’s wired solution is virtually lag-free.
It even supports touch input and gestures you can use for your Mac or PC like two-finger scrolling, panning and pinch zoom. For iPad Pro users, Apple Pencil is supported, great for precise sketching and drawing in graphics software like Adobe Photoshop.
As an added bonus, Duet adds Touch Bar (aka MacBook Pro) functionality to Duet iPads paired with Macs running Sierra 10.12.2 and above.
