Here’s the backstory
Before looking at the image, you should know a few things. First, the “hidden tiger” art piece was created by American artist Donald “Rusty” Rust.
His creations are part of many collections, some hanging in the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, the Ringling Museum of the Circus, and the Norman Rockwell Museum in Philadelphia.
Then, the objective of the picture is to spot the hidden tiger. No, it’s not the visible jungle tiger in the foreground. Here’s the image:

Did you find the hidden tiger? If you are struggling, don’t feel bad. There are lots of people who gave up after spending several minutes pouring over the details. But here is a hint: the clue is in the name of the painting, and you should start your search on the visible tiger.
According to The Conversation, optical illusions can help scientists better understand the human brain.
“Visual illusions show us that we do not have direct access to reality. They can also provide an inkling of the mental processing that delivers our experience of the viewable world,” scientists Kim Ransley and Alex O. Holcombe of the University of Sydney explained.
