You’ve binge-watched the latest seasons of “Ozark” and “Westworld.”

Now you’re looking for something new but still can’t bring yourself to check out the new Netflix reality TV show “Too Hot to Handle.” Instead of diving into the shallow end of the streaming show pool, how about watching something a little more interesting instead?

It’s a site where you can choose from over 3,000 documentaries, covering everything from tech and economics to science and nature. And the best part is, Top Documentary Films is absolutely free.

Thousands of options to choose from

TDF has been curating documentaries since 2007 and now has about 1.5 million visitors each month. Its goal is to be a resource for those interested in particular genres and to help independent documentary filmmakers promote their films.

You can choose from various documentary lists broken down by category or Top 100. Some are short or even just previews, while many are full-length.

The categories cover a wide range of topics, some of which might not be suitable for younger viewers, so double check what your kids are watching if this is a family affair. You also might have to navigate through some of the conspiracy videos, too.

Beyond that, the choice is yours. Interested in technology? Check out “Into the Unknown” about the Hubble Space Telescope. “Machine Learning: Living in the Age of AI” is fascinating, too.

Again, it won’t cost you a dime and the content on Top Documentary Films is updated regularly. No doubt you’ll find a topic you’re interested in.
