25 Amazon kitchen gadgets Kim loves: Instant Pot, sushi making kit, Chick-fil-A sauce
These are some of my favorite kitchen gadgets that I recently discovered on Amazon. I thought you might be surprised at how much they’ll help you when you’re cooking. They definitely surprised me.
1. Keep your veggies fresh a lot longer in these special bags
You want your veggies to last as long as possible. Ideally, you want to take as few trips to the market as possible these days. But if you’re buying food to last you between visits, you won’t want it going bad on you in your fridge.
These handy Debbie Meyer GreenBags are perfect for storing fruits and veggies in your crisper drawer and will help them last longer than they would normally. You’ll love them as much as I do!
2. Bored? Cook something new in these amazing cedar wraps
I wish that I had known about these wraps sooner! Salmon and veggies wrapped in these cedar wraps are so yummy. I had our EVP over for dinner and made this and Kip thought I had the meal delivered. The best part, you only have to soak the wraps in water for a few minutes before you use them and they don’t go on fire!
Works great on steak and chicken too. These cedar wraps from TrueFire Gourmet are definitely something you need to try.
3. Protect your hands with these heat-proof oven gloves
I know you have pot holders already. So did I. Time to move on.
What good is grilling or baking if you’re going to end up burning a finger? Well don’t worry, these oven gloves can withstand temperatures up to 662 degrees and will keep your hands protected while you turn up the heat.
4. Chop veggies the quick and easy way
This product name makes you think that you can only chop onions. Not true. It works with all your veggies.
Forget dealing with a knife and making perfect little squares. Just put your onion or whatever on the board, press it down, and you’re done. This Mueller Austria onion chopper works like magic.

5. Take the top off your cans for no more germs
This new gadget takes the top off your soda and beer cans. No more dealing with the little tabs on the cans and wondering about all the germs on it. Very innovative for sure!
This all-in-one bottle opener can also tackle jars, corks, and bottles all in one go. Be sure to look at the pictures on Amazon to see it in action.
6. Use Chick-fil-A genuine sauces at home with your own chicken dishes
Chick-fil-A serves up some pretty delicious foods, but I’m not too crazy about the wait in the drive-thru. Why wait when you can order the company’s famous sauce for yourself and use it on your own chicken dishes?
7. I love these farmer’s market hot sauces
You can’t go wrong with a good selection of hot sauces, and this pack of sauces from Marshall’s is great for adding a kick to all kinds of different dishes — smokey, sweet, you name it!
8. Turn your Instant Pot into an air frying machine
We’re huge fans of the Instant Pot and have recommended it on several of our other lists. But did you know there are accessories you can buy to give it even more uses?
This Instant Pot Air Fryer turns your pressure cooker into an easy-to-use fryer that does the whole process in a much healthier way.
9. Or buy just the air fryer lid for your Instant Pot
Alternatively, if you don’t have a name-brand Instant Pot, this air fryer accessory will also do the trick.
10. Barry bought me this great cookbook
I guess he got tired of me making the same things all the time. :/
Of course, you’ll want to know some tasty recipes when you start using these items in your own kitchen. This book will show you 140 different healthy options you can easily make yourself.
11. Sharpen your dull knives
Knives don’t last forever, but a professional grinder like the KitchenIQ 50009 will help you keep your favorite cutlery sharp for years at a time.
12. Be your own Starbucks barista
Who loves cappuccinos? One of my favorite parts is the whipped foam at the top of the drink, and you don’t even need to go to Starbucks to get it. Just use this PowerLix milk frother to add a professional touch to your hot drinks.
13. Forget paper cupcake cups
Who hates peeling cupcakes out of a sticky pan? Well not to worry, because these reusable cupcake liners will not only help you pull them out much easier, it makes them more fun to eat. Plus, I love the colors the set comes in.
14. Keep your microwave oven clean
Microwave cooking may not seem like the fanciest way to make a meal, but we all have to do it now and then. But instead of making a mess when you cook or reheat your food, this microwave plate cover will protect your oven from splatters and keep the food evenly heated.
15. Make sushi at home (Yes, really!)
Sushi is one of the things I miss most from before the pandemic. But thanks to this awesome DIY sushi-making kit, I don’t even have to worry about taking a risk and going to a restaurant.
It comes with all the tools you need to shape, cut and roll your favorite sushi dishes. Just don’t forget the rice vinegar.
16. A reliable durable meat thermometer
Everyone needs a good meat thermometer, and this piece from Habor Digital is not only waterproof, it’s made for both right and left-handed chefs.
17. Cold brew coffee at home
We talked about making the perfect hot drinks, but who else loves cold brew coffee? Where I live, the temperatures are in the triple digits during summer, so hot coffee is out of the question.
This cold brew iced coffee maker from Takeya makes it simple to prepare delicious iced coffee you can keep in your fridge.
18. Organize the kitchen sink
With every great meal comes an equally great mess. Luckily, this sink caddy will hold all of your soaps, sponges and steel-wool scrubbers in one place. Hey, just because you’re cleaning up a mess doesn’t mean your kitchen has to look like one.
19. Finally, a functional spice rack
If you have spices, a simple spice rack is the best way to organize them. At least, that’s what I thought until I saw this beautiful rack from Copco, which displays all your spices in a stairstep formation so you won’t miss a thing.
It even features a rubber surface so nothing slips around or falls over. Nothing goes to waste in my kitchen.
20. Perfect egg sandwiches and pancakes too
I love cooking breakfast, but hate how pancakes turn out when I use my favorite protein mixes. If you aren’t paying complete attention, they’ll get a very strange shape in a matter of seconds.
But no matter what kind of mix you use, these silicone egg and pancake rings will give you the perfect shape every time you fire up the griddle.
21. No more lost storage container tops
I love storing leftovers to eat later in the week, but if I can’t tell which food is inside which Tupperware container, what’s the point? That’s what drew me to these Joseph Joseph food containers, which are conveniently color-coded to help you organize your fridge. I love how you can tell the size of each container by color, too.
22. I use these bags to store food too
Not all items should be stored in Tupperware containers. Sometimes, a bag is necessary, which is why I love these silicone food bags. They’re fully resealable, leakproof and, yes, color-coded, too!
23. Make sure you don’t get sick from the grill
As we were saying earlier, the cleanup is just as important as the prep work for your meal. This goes double for grills, which can accumulate gunk and grime after just a few uses.
This stainless steel Grillart grill brush is perfect for scraping off excess grime and will keep your grill working perfectly throughout the summer.
24. Make perfect rice all the time
If you’re at home all the time like most of us are, a rice cooker is one of the best kitchen gadgets you can own. Rice doesn’t spoil easily, and if you stock up on it, you can use a rice cooker like this Aroma Housewares model to make fast rice that tastes restaurant-fresh whenever you want.
25. Affordable knife set that’s organized too
I have a small collection of kitchen knives that I keep in a cool holder. But there’s just one problem: I can barely tell which knife is which when they’re all inside it.
If you couldn’t tell already, I love color-coordinated utensils and containers. That’s why this color-coded 12-piece set from Amazon Basics is so useful to me. Now, I’ll know exactly which knife is which just by glancing in my drawer.
