What I Streamed And Liked: 'Green Book'

Kim’s streaming pick for this week is the Academy Award winning movie “Green Book.”

Kim didn’t know what a Green Book was until she saw the movie, and she’s glad she did now – watch and find out for yourself. This one kept her attention all the way until the end!

In this movie, Dr. Don Shirley (Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali)  is a world-class African-American pianist who is about to embark on a concert tour in the Deep South in 1962. In need of a driver and protection, Shirley recruits Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), a tough-talking bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx.

Despite their differences, the two men soon develop an unexpected bond while confronting racism and danger in an era of segregation.

“Green Book” is available from Amazon, Apple TV, Fandango Now, Google Play, PlayStation, Vudu and YouTube.
