List of Alexa commands you’re not using but should be
Are you like millions of others who are turning their place into a “smart home?” This, of course, means a home that is equipped with electronic devices that can be controlled remotely by a computer or phone.
This practice is becoming so common that a world of virtual assistants has opened up. Instead of tapping an app to play your music, then another app to put on your lights, and yet another to turn down the thermostat, you can just do all that from a single home hub.
One of the most popular virtual assistants is Amazon’s Alexa. You can find Alexa in several Amazon products such as the Echo, Dot and Tap.
Amazon is constantly updating Alexa’s performance. The virtual assistant is now able to help you with over 15,000 skills.
Alexa is also making its way into non-Amazon products. We recently told you about the Lenovo Smart Assistant, which looks similar to the Amazon Echo but has a few subtle differences.
Now that Alexa will no longer be confined to Amazon products, it’s bound to turn up in many more homes. If you don’t have an Alexa enabled gadget now, you probably will some day.
That’s why we’re going to tell you about some helpful Alexa commands that you might not know exist.
