For a little more money, you can step into a budget version of true wireless, untethered earbuds. The $49 JLab JBuds Air earbuds get up to four hours of battery time, but you can help extend that by using the case to add up to 10 hours of use. Amazon reviewers are praising the combination of price and sound quality. It’s hard to find a set of truly wireless earphones with decent reviews at such an affordable price, but the JBuds Air seem to have pulled it off.
Earphones are a very individual thing, especially when it comes to how they fit. Try swapping out tips and cushions for your new earbuds and experiment to find a good, snug, and comfortable position. If you find the right earphones for your Android, you might not feel so envious of Apple’s AirPods after all.
